Event occurs every 2nd Saturday of the month except December, July & August – 9 AM to noon.

Join PP&R, Friends of Powell Butte and Hands On Portland to rebuild and restore the trail and fence systems, plant and maintain native plantings and to remove invasive species.

Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy walking shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear and/or sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and treats provided. Volunteers must be at least age 14 (without adult supervision) or age 8 (with adult supervision). Younger children must be accompanied by adults, and volunteers under age 18 must have a parent sign our liability form. For volunteers aged 14-17 who plan to attend the event on their own, a liability form may be obtained from Susan (see below) prior to the event, or through Hands on Portland.

Volunteers must be able to hike up to 5 miles with the group.

Note that the group will be hiking quite a distance from the parking lot, so be on time to be sure to meet up with the group.
