DESCRIPTION:<p class='editorParragraph'>Join Portland Parks & Recreation st
 aff and community volunteers in completing important ecological enhancemen
 t and clean-up projects on Powell Butte Nature Park. Projects vary through
 out the year and include planting\, plant care and litter pick up. No expe
 rience necessary! Children welcome\, and must be accompanied by an attenti
 ve adult.</p>\n<p>Volunteers under age 18 must have a parent or guardian s
 ign our <strong><a href='https://usa642.sfdc-lywfpd.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#

 OP youth waiver</a></strong>. Wear sturdy close-toed shoes\, long pants\, 
 and long-sleeved shirts. Bring rain gear and/or sun gear\, a hat\, a fille
 d water bottle\, and snacks. Bring gloves\, if you have a pair that you li
 ke to use. Instruction\, tools and gloves otherwise provided. Coffee/tea a
 nd snacks provided.</p>\n<p class='editorParragraph'><strong>Project Requi
 rements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class='editorParragraph'>If you plan
  to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way
  to do this is to create a <a href='https://www.handsonportland.org/Team_V
 olunteering'>Volunteer Team</a>\, then sign up your team for this project.
 </p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p class='editorParragraph'><strong>Powell Butte habita
 t enhancement events are very popular! Therefore\, we ask that if you are 
 not able to attend\, that you remove yourself promptly from the sign-up li
 st. This allows other people the opportunity to participate if you are not
  able to. Thank you.</strong></p>\n<p>IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible 
 for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends – only sign
  up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeate
 dly sign up\, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than the
